First, before getting into the meat of this site, let me ask a few questions.
...What is the meaning of "More American Than Native"?
...Why is it important to be More American than Native?
...Why is the American system of Capitalism, Individual Rights, and Freedom, the best system in the world and how have we
abandoned these principles?
...Why should the Federal Government terminate all financial assistance to Native Tribes in the United States?
...Do we want to enslave our children and grandchildren to the Federal Government by enacting laws and tax's for our own
financial benefit?
...Do you believe in Socialism and Communism?
These are just some of the questions raised on this site. If you want to pursue other questions and possible solutions,

This site and any products listed on this site are a celebration of America and the American Dream. It's dedicated to hope,
achievement, capitalism, liberty, individual rights and small government. THIS IS NOT A REPUBLICAN site nor a LIBERTARIAN
site.
In fact, I am registered as a Independent. I am promoting these values as they are "the" principles which made America great
and will continue to do so, as long as we hold true to them.
I am 1/2 half Native American, but as I indicate on the top of my site, I am more American than Native.
In the last 70 years, America has become a fragmented. We have become a nation of hyphenated minorities. African-American,
Native-American, Mexican-American, Asian-American, and Irish-American. The list is long.
Why? The quote below is by Frederic Bastiat, a French economist in the 1840's. He foresaw the issues facing America when
a Government adopts socialism as America has the last 70 years. He maintains:

"[The socialists declare] that the state owes subsistence, well-being, and education to all its citizens; that it should be
generous, charitable, involved in everything, devoted to everybody; ...that it should intervene directly to relieve all suffering,
satisfy and anticipate all wants, furnish capital to all enterprises, enlightenment to all minds, balm for all wounds, asylums
for all the unfortunate, and even aid to the point of shedding French blood, for all oppressed people on the face of the earth.
Who would not like to see all these benefits flow forth upon the world from the law, as from an inexhaustible source? ...But
is it possible? ...Whence does [the state] draw those resources that it is urged to dispense by way of benefits to individuals?
Is it not from the individuals themselves? How, then, can these resources be increased by passing through the hands of a parasitical
and voracious intermediary?...
Finally...we shall see the entire people transformed into petitioners. Landed property, agriculture, industry, commerce, shipping,
industrial companies, all will bestir themselves to claim favors from the state. The public treasury will be literally pillaged.
Everyone will have good reasons to prove that legal fraternity should be interpreted in this sense: "Let me have the benefits,
and let others pay the costs."
Everyone's effort will be directed toward snatching a scrap of fraternal privilege from the legislature. The suffering classes,
although having the greatest claim, will not always have the greatest success.";

Doesn't that sentence seem to capture the essence of our times?
Can't you see Mathew Lesko on late night T.V., running around with his dollar suit, telling everybody that his book has 1000's
of ways to get money from the Federal Government.
Can't you see the lobbyist's, special interests groups, grant writers, politicians, business's looking for tax breaks, minority
groups, State Governments, and every victim and entitled group "petitioning" for public monies, and benefits and wanting "other's"
to pay the cost?
What is the "reason" or "motivation" of this site? Some of it listed above, but it boils down to more than just greedy politician's,
big government, or socialism/communism.
I sobered up in 1978 in Vancouver, WA. The main reason I did so was because I had gotten to the point in my drinking where
I could not support myself and I was resorting to thievery to get my booze. One day after stealing from a family member,
I could not live with myself. I resolved that I was not going to live and die so dependent on anything that I would sacrifice
my honor, dignity and integrity. In other words I was not going to live as a bum on society or my family anymore.
In 1991, when I had 12 years of sobriety and at 40 years old, I had the wonderful opportunity to see my first son born. I
was then given another wonderful gift of watching my second son born in 1993.
My oldest son is now 17 and the youngest is 14. I can't express my gratitude for being so gifted in sobriety to experience
the joys of fatherhood, especially after living on skidrow in 1977. In 1977, I believed my life was over and that I didn't
deserve to live a decent life after some of the things I had done. Yet, after 12 years of sobriety, I was given the gift
of children, even though they try a person's patience!
In 1997, I began to really question the direction America and American politicians were taking. I began to notice that America
had moved away from the ideals I was raised in and what I and previous generations had fought so hard for.
I began reading studying and to understand the forces that created the current trends in America, American government and
in our American culture.
I studied the trend of American politicians and intellectuals turning to socialism to cure issues and concerns in the United
States. I studied Ayn Rand, Libertarianism, Ludwig Von Mises of the Foundation for Economic Education. I studied biographies
of the Founding Fathers and the reasons they fought for this form of government and for capitalism. I also found a wonderful
website called, "The Grandfather Report", which documents the rise of socialism and the federal government since the 1930's
under Franklin Roosevelt.
As I was discussing current events with my son's one night, I realized they had no idea why Socialism, Federalism, and Communism,
was so dangerous. They blindly accepted the current mentality that the government knows "best", even if it meant they would
spend over one half of their lives feeding that government.
Yet, it still boils down to my decision 30 years ago when I first sobered up. I made a decision to "NOT" be a bum. The way
social security is heading, universal health care, and all the other socialistic programs being contemplated, in addition
to the current mentality that the "government" is supposed to give us cradle to grave protection, even though it means making
my children and grand-children slaves for the remainder of their lives to provide that protection.
I will not be a bum while alive, sucking off other peoples efforts, and I will not be a bum after I am dead. I will not enslave
my descendants to working their lives away, so I can live in comfort and luxury today.
In addition, I realized I had been not been responsible in providing this type of education to my sons. In my rebellion against
my father and his beliefs, I realized that I had thrown out the baby with the bath water. I feel many of the generation of
baby-boomers have done the same, starting with the sixties and continuing to this day. What we fail to realize is by painting
our parents generation with a single black brush, we have also abandoned the principles that this country was founded on,
and which made our silver spoon baby boomer lives.
So, I have dedicated myself. I have dedicated myself to do create a site such as this. To doing what I can to offset the
last 70 years of socialism and the acceptance of socialism. To educate as many young and old minds as I can regarding the
beliefs, principles, and values that truly made America great.
